What services does your company provide?
SurePro Windows & Doors offers high performance window and door installations. We install retro-fit windows, new construction windows, conversions, patio doors, French doors and now featuring in-glass pet doors.
What is Low-E?
Low Emissivity glass is made with a metallic coating on the inside of the insulating glass unit. This lowers the window’s ability to transfer heat and saves energy without compromising visibility. The low-E coating also reduces fading by up to 75% by reflecting the long-wave light rays that carry heat and UV. We offer Triple Low-E, which means more energy savings to you. And, yes, other companies offer Triple Low-E for their windows, it is considered an upgrade and thus will cost you more. SurePro Windows & Doors offers Triple Low-E as a standard feature.
Can the Triple Low-E help me reduce my energy costs?
Because the Triple Low-E blocks heat from passing through it, during the winter the heat from the inside of the house will be kept inside by the Low-E 3. Conversely, in the summertime, the heat will be kept out of the house by the Low-E 3, amounting up to savings on heating and AC costs.
Why does my home need fade protection from the sun?
Triple Low-E not only reduces energy consumption but it protects fabrics from fading by blocking UV rays. This is ideal for anyone that has curtains, shutters or furniture by their window openings.
How does Triple Low-E help control the temperature in my home?
In the summer, when you are running your AC, the Low-E 3 keeps the hot air out, keeping your house cooler and allowing you to run your AC less often. In the winter, when you have your heater on, you don’t have to worry about it seeping away through your windows because the Low-E 3 will keep the hot air in your home, again allowing you to run your heater less often.
What are some other benefits associate with the Triple Low-E?
All of the benefits of Triple Low-E have been covered; you save on your energy costs, have better control of the temperature in your home and keep your furniture, blinds, curtains and carpets from sun damage.
